What This Site Does

Vitamin Review publishes articles, reviews, and comparisons about health supplements. Nothing is sold on this site and there are no accounts to create. Some pages link to online stores and other websites. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy applies.

What We Collect

Site analytics. We use a standard web analytics service that records the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical details about your browser and device. You can opt out by blocking third-party scripts in your browser.

Server logs. Our web server keeps standard logs of each request: IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use them for security and troubleshooting.

Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to answer you and to run the site.

We do not run advertising on this site, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information above to build profiles of visitors.

Consumer Health Data

Consumer health data is information that says something about a person's health. Under Washington's My Health My Data Act that can include an interest in health supplements, so information about how you use this site gets the Act's protections. Here is how we handle it:

Categories collected: the pages you view on this site, as recorded by our analytics provider, and anything you tell us about yourself when you contact us.

Sources: your browser, through the analytics scripts described above, and you, when you contact us.

Purpose: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it, and answering your questions.

Sharing: with our analytics provider, acting as our processor, and with no one else. We do not sell consumer health data and do not share it for advertising.

Your rights: you may ask us to confirm whether we hold consumer health data about you, to see it, to have it deleted, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Email privacy@vitamin-review.com with "Health data request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.

Cookies

We do not set cookies of our own. Our analytics provider sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors. Blocking cookies in your browser stops analytics from running; the site still works. The site does not change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.

Children

This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
